My husband and I agree that we like everything about Canemount Plantation Inn. It may be off the beaten track for some, but that made it perfect for us. Our room was very large (in the coach house) close to the main house. I fell in love with the fireplace and cozy seating area, the ideal spot to read, eat some chocolate and have a warm beverage. Great huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub.
The owners think of everything. Real creamer for the coffee maker, water bottles in fridge, even ice in the freezer, snacks, real mugs and glasses, plenty of thick towels, like I said, they are thoughtful owners.
We learned a great deal about the property and surrounding area, had a scrumptious breakfast made-to-order, slept like babies on a firm mattress, took loads of pictures, and were relaxed and ready for our drive home.
We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful in the winter, but most likely gorgeous in spring and summer.
