My dad felt very safe and comfortable there. I highly recommend Cabanas el Jardin if you are going to Valdivia. My dad fell at home and the daily breakfast was delicious !! "

"Beautiful property and view. Staff was so helpful and front staff even helped me print something I needed. There was a broken light in our room that they tried to fix but couldn’t. Staff was very prompt and explained they would fix it the next day after trying for about 20 minutes. Our adult kids loved the outdoor hot tub. "

"Sweet little cabin lakeside near Puerto Fuy. Very peaceful and beautiful location and surroundings. The cabin was fine, lovely build, but inside quite worn out and we felt a little disappointed given the nightly rate. There were some touches / standards we were surprised by given the cost - eg no shampoo, conditioner or soap, very worn out / rusty / broken furniture. And a couple of short cuts, I.e there was no sofa, just a bench, which made the stay less than comfortable. I think it’s just a case of the property not quite being as ‘premium’ as the way it is marketed & photographed. Also worth noting that it isn’t a secluded cabin like the photos suggest, it’s actually part of a small village of cabins next to a campsite. So no big issues - just that we felt it was very expensive for what it is. We still had a relaxing few days and enjoyed being in nature. The contacts for the stay were fairly helpful and we whatsapped them about a couple of questions while we were there. We enjoyed use of the kayaks too! :)"

"Definitely not worth all of the hype. Poor service whenever we went to the bars or restaurant (staff never available) Breakfast hours are way too short to serve all the people they have staying. We were told one of the pools was strictly for adults yet children and families allowed in. I would not visit this place again."

"One of my family members was sick so we decided to stay an additional night. The day before I went to the hotel's reception and asked to book the additional night. They said they couldn't do it directly and suggested using a website. I tried booking the additional night through the hotel website but it was not working, so I ended up booking it through Hotels.com. The next day when I visited the reception to make sure the reservation was extended, the lady mentioned I needed to do the check out and check-in again (go twice to the reception). They wouldn't even respect the price informed by hotels.com even when I showed the receipt. They charged an extra 20% to the rate informed by hotels.com. The hotel is surrounded in a beautiful forest but I ended up wasting 5-6 hours just dealing with the reception people..."

"El hotel esta bien equipado, limpio, buenas instalaciones , camas buenas , la vista ecelente,, baño limpio y excelentes condiciones, pero la atención de conserje deja mucho que desear , atiende de malos modos ... como si estuviera haciendo su trabajo por obligacion , aparte no esbozo ni una sonrisa. Al solicitar un taxi responde con una broma de mal gusto. En cuanto al desayuno dejo una critica ... platos de carton para el pan y las cosas dulces, cubiertos de madera desechables, envases platicos desechables para el yogurt, el cual es envasado en el hotel me imagino el vaso para jugo es de carton desechable y demasiado pequeño. Esta critica la hago por un tema de que se esta generando basura de mas por gusto. Aparte no es agradable contar alimentos con un cuchillo de madera .... ademas en un hotel de esta categoria es impensable utilizar este tipo de cubiertos. Lo otro a mejora son las toallas de ducha las cuales son chicas y asperas me imagino por que deben tener bastante uso. Ademas solo dejaron una toalla chica en consecuencia que eramos dos personas. Ojala tomen en consideración las criticas para poder evaluarlos en todos los puntos como excelente en una próxim oportunidad!! Lo otro es que al llegar al hotel y hacer el check in nos cobraron el IVA cosa que nunca me había pasado antes reservando con Hoteles.com , en el hotel Diegp de Almagro esto no me ha sucedido nunca."
