it had roaches in my room and you can tell they half cleaned the room the windows was dirty and had hand marks all on them they switched my room but i still was uncomfortable after seeing roaches but i had no where else to go and it was non refundable and i had my 5 year old with me i was on and off sleeping thinking a roach was gonna come crawling.. i took photos

First of all, the manager and the staff were phenomenal. To be honest, the hotel had some minor facility issues while I was staying. Well, my shower had no hot water for two days. But they were able to let me access another room for showering after realizing it couldn’t be easily fixed in time. What’s more telling is that, AFTER I checked out and was loading luggage in my car, the manager came out, apologized to me about the hot water issues, and gave me $100 cash refund for the trouble. He didn’t have to do that. This type of action says a lot about the attitude of the owner/management toward their guests. Highly recommended.

This property requires a $100 CASH deposit for incidentals if you book through a third party. I was not aware of this and had to use the ATM on-site to withdraw funds. We did receive our deposit back the next day upon check-out. The room itself was dingy, dirty and smelled of old cigarette smoke. The hot water took a few minutes to work and the bed/pillows were not comfortable. The walls were thin so we could hear traffic from the interstate and all parking lot noise throughout our stay. The positive is that staff were friendly and we did get the deposit back.

It served its purpose
Overall, the service was good, friendly staff members throughout my stay. The room was a bit dingy, and held a bit of a stale aroma. We needed to febreeze the room and run the air for a few hours to refresh the air. Breakfast was...served. It was your typical "egg stuff", meat, and biscuit. I did enjoy there yogurt options. Bed is comfy, pillows are not. The TV experience would have been better with a TV Guide available. I am not from the area, and needed to "figure out" what was on each channel. Even providing the channels with GUIDE information would be huge.
