"Simple but charming British hospitality "

"The property was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were great. Could just do with some thicker pillows. However this would not stop us from visiting again should we be in Lowestoft."

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "We had a lovely stay over three nights late December. All staff very friendly and polite. Room very good, plenty of room (204). Cooked breakfast tasty and well presented. Room nice and warm and splendid view of beach and sea. Thank you Mark and Helen Fenton"

"Smooth check in, very quiet but out of season. I was there for work so missed the breakfast unfortunately but everything was ideal and comfortable for a few night stay. "

"Ideal location with walking distance to many things , room was warm and clean an arrival , beds comfortable . Large tv in a good position . If I was to point bad points … no hdmi port on tv , and sink very small so sprays everywhere "

"It needs to be pointed out to potential visitors that there is no lift within the building so disabled people and those with heavy luggage will have difficulty accessing the rooms above the ground floor."
