"We turned up at this place to find nobody was there to greet us , the door was locked and no explanation about parking inside Lucas’s city walls. Owner finally turned up after we called, accommodation disappointing, would suggest it’s more of a hostel stay . We decided to book elsewhere it was not for us."

"This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. We had a family room which had an upstairs with a king bed and downstairs there were two twin beds for the kids. Lots of good food options near by. "Great location in fantastic walled city of Lucca. Just a couple of blocks from the entrance through the wall to Lucca. Room was very large, had a kitchen and was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful, and did everything we asked. Would stay again! Loved non-touristy Lucca."
