Cosy cottage in a beautiful village.
Lovely place. Spotlessly clean. Excellent communication. Fantastic location very close to Puzzlewood and the Wye Valley.
Lovely to arrive to Welsh cakes and fresh milk.
A few things that may not be immediately evident from the photos and might be of interest to some.
1) the large garden in the photos is the proprietor’s private garden. The granary’s garden is the small garden with the patio in the photos.
2) the double bed is a 4’6 double not a king so may be a little cosy for taller people.
3) the staircase is very close to the kitchen table. This was fine for us, but I might have been nervous had our children been younger.
4) the layout of the cottage has the small conservatory, twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor with the kitchen, double room and bathroom on the first floor.
The Granary is in a lovely village close to the castle and is accessed through the proprietor’s drive adjacent to and and over their double garage.
In the village there is a lovely old-school local pub, The George, that keeps good beer and serves good food.
We had a lovely two nights at the Granary.
Thanks so much!
