"We always chose Holiday Inn whenever possible during travels. This was a great surprise to find Holiday Inn on Big Island. Great location. Even though it’s not directly on a beach, it was just 10 minutes walk. In fact all shops and restaurants were on the same street along the ocean side and it was 10 minutes away. Rooms were always clean and the property was well kept. Complimentary breakfast is a huge plus. Every morning there were eggs, bacon or sausages, juices, coffees, pancakes, toasts, muffins, yogurts, cereals and more. It was always a great meal before we explored the island every day.You will not be disappointed in the location and price. In fact it was 15 minutes from the airport. The famous luau at the King’s resort is also 10 minutes walk, so drink as much as you want since no driving is needed. We love being out and exploring, had a rental for all our travels. We were so appreciative of the stuff to let us store our suitcases downstairs after later checkout because our flight was later in the evening. We spent our last hours on the beach and walking around the area while waiting for our time to leave. We were offered a shower and fresh towels before we left at the pool area, which was great after the last minutes at the beach before the flight. Highly recommend this location!"
