"A very friendly proprietor checked us into a very "cozy" family room for 4. A queen bed and a set of bunk beds was topped with a small ceiling fan and made special with a small enclosed semi-private patio backed by the kitchen. No towels or toiletries. This hostel includes a front terrace restaurant overlooking the northeast Malaga beach. Walking distance to downtown sights/restaurants/bus stations-stops/ferry to Benalmedina. This place is loud until 2-3 am and this picks up again around 6 am....

"Perfect hotel for a short stay (we stayed 3 nights) - pretty basic but great value for money, quiet, good location close to a supermarket and not far from the bus stop in to town. The only think we went keen on was the shower area was VERY slippery and could have done with a slip mat. "

"This was a one night stay, and was booked due to its convenient location to the airport, where an early morning flight was required the next day. It suited our needs for that reason. "Terrible. Worst night of my life. Cheap windows fitted to the outside balcony to create more space in the rooms, but you can hear all the traffic below from the busy main road ALL night and day. "Loved our stay here at the Apartamentos Turísticos Alhambra. We took the #3 bus that was very close by and were able to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The host was a lovely lady, super friendly and responsive. Two issues to be aware of - there are no screens (which looks to be the norm in Malaga) so you do need to deal with the occasional mosquito. We had fantastic weather (80 deg near zero humidity & cool at night) so we loved sleeping with the windows open but when we tried to use the A/C...
