Not impressed at all really compared to my other stays at the Gotham, which have been explempary The standard room was not great and the service in the bar in the evening was very poor and my girlfriend and I had to wait for 10 minutes Not acceptable Also overcharged on the bar bill Would like a refund

The room was very comfortable and corridors were safe. We didn't eat at the hotel but have done previously. The lifts were down to one so we had to join a queue to use them. I thought the charge per person, in addition to room cost, wasn't right.

Such a cool vibe at this hotel! Great views from the rooftop bar and walkable to other fun spots and amazing food. Staff was very helpful and responsive when we needed any help.

We loved the hotel and they even upgraded us for free. Hiwever because they swapped rooms for us and we had already left our bag there earlier. It took approx an hour for my bag to brought to our room. We paid £100 security depost and were advised 5 working days. That was on july 17th and were now july 25th and still waiting 😭 other than that fabulous hotel

Fancy Hotel and Spacious Rooms
Stately old building that really leans in to its old-world charm. The room, for the most part, was fantastic, spacious and well laid-out. Our window looked out towards the Grand Pacific, a view that enticed us to try Friday night dinner over there. The rooftop terrace affords a wonderful view across the city, though service up there was not particularly prompt or pleasant. We sprung for the breakfast, which was good enough but certainly not worth the 24 pounds per person. The shower stall also leaked copiously; we left a note but noticed that there was a great deal of aged and painted-over water damage in the area of the leak, so they are likely aware. Walkable to Piccadilly Square, and various nearby restaurants.

Stayed to celebrate my wife’s birthday for one night. We stayed in the inner sanctum suite. Champagne bottle wrapper found down the side of the sofa on arrival, reported to housekeeping and was asked if we wanted them to hoover!! Erm…. Yes please!! Staff were all very friendly apart from one lady we encountered in the rooftop terrace who was lacking a friendly smile. If you don’t like elevators then I wouldn’t stay here, there are two and they are extremely small and dark, also the reception is on the 6th floor so they are unavoidable . We didn’t get any reference for my wife’s birthday what so ever which we would expect from this standard of hotel, just a note, a chocolate or something goes a long way to make somebody’s day. We wouldn’t stay again, I think it’s massively over hyped. The young man at the concierge desk on arrival was very friendly and welcoming.
