this property is nice if we talk location, very walkable to everything shopping/ dining but it really needs renovation, some of electrical sockets in the room are not working, old gym compared to other hotel i stayed before in the area, breakfast buffet is really good but the dinner has less selections, there are nice staff that are helpful and there are who doesn’t care at all, doesn’t even smile , most the guys on duty in the am, near the lobby

The Club lounge access was great with Paulette, Moira, Leah, Marie’s and Shaina being at the top of their game to host you with warm hospitality and Glenda and each and every floor manager at the Pantry was also great. The best was the Koi Garden which we enjoyed feeding the Koi’s in the Morning . The hotel is well connected and safe to travel with Family .

we had a king room on the 10th floor which was very comfortable. We enjoyed that it was close to shops and not far from airport. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed dining at the Benjarong Thai.

The moment you step inside Dusit Thani Manila, the dank musty smell of regret (i.e., mold) hits you immediately. The foul smell of the building follows you from check-in until you arrive in your room filled with damaged furniture installed decades ago. A quick tour of the facilities reveals the building is well past its lifespan and proper upkeep is non-existent. Even elevator buttons and property signs are faded beyond repair. The condition and upkeep of the property made me wonder how online reviews didn't unanimously scream to avoid this 5-Star embarrassment in Makati. 2 hours after checking and touring the building, I wrote off my decision as a loss and checked into a different hotel. I was fortunate my initial reservation was only for 2 days. I can only suspect Dusit Thani Manila has figured out how to manipulate it's online reputation and bait tourists seeking a 5 star hotel in Makati for $100/night. If you look closer, the warning signs are there. Lesson learned.

Staff are super friendly and attentive to our needs (eg, always ready to help even before we ask). Our room and everywhere else in the hotel are very clean. Buffet breakfast has extensive choices for food and efficient servers.

This is my 4th time staying at this hotel through Expedia. No upgrade whatsoever. So much mishap with the staff. Front desk people were not so helpful with the room request, maybe because you are booking through a third party. Ended up booking an upgrade directly with them. Club Room 16th floor didn’t have towels when we arrived, and they don’t have loofah. It always takes them at least half an hour if you request for something sent to your room (towel, tissue, etc). Definitely no VIP perks.

Great hotel overall. Very clean and spacious facility, professional staff, great breakfast buffet. The only negative I have is that the room is about due for a renovation. It's at the end of its life cycle, but still clean and functioning. Just not modern.
