Needs some TLC
Check in staff at the Golf Resort were fantastic and extremely helpful and accomodating. The Golf course was in great condition and a delight to play. The suite was in need of an update to fixtures & fittings in particularl the towels, door handles, plug points and wardrobe doors needed more tlc. Lovely gardens with great view points and lots of water fountains. A big concern was that the clean up staff washed down the paths every morning between 9-10am which meant that it was very slippery - why not clean earlier in the morning so guests aren't slipping and dodging hoses. Whilst staying at the Golf Suites there was no facility for guests to have breakfast, instead it was a walk to the main hotel. The gate between the 2 resorts would also close early evening which meant you would have to walk all the way around the resort to get to the main hotel to use the facilities. All staff were friendly and happy to greet you.

Nice hotel, but stingy with amenities
The Palmerie Palace was a beautiful resort, and the rooms were comofrtable and clean. My only complaint is that they were very stingy with towels and other amenities. They wouldn't give extra towels when requested. After multiple requests, they finally gave us an extra hand towel (not a proper bath towel). I'm not sure if they were running low or what, but it was really frustrating. We also had only a small amount of toilet paper in our room and ran out within a day. We asked for more, and they wouldn't bring it for almost a day (after 3 requests). At a 5 star hotel, I would not expect them to be stingy with simple things like toilet paper.

It was ok but the resort needs to be rennovated. The room furniture was worn out and the walkway carpets also needs to be replaced. The conference rest areas are very badly maintained.

The size and architecture was impressive, pool and outdoor seating areas were very nice , the resort is suitable for those seeking quietness away from bustling city life and still a few minutes away from it , the hotel offers shuttle service to the old city . This staff is nice and responsive to customer needs , I’m very particular about room cleanliness and my room was 3226 very clean by the wing staff Amal , Lamyaa and Hind They also reminded me about few precocious items that I forgot while checking out , many thanks to their honesty and dedication especially Amal AJ

I liked the quietness, seclusion as well as the fine architecture and spacious facade, Staff was very welcoming starting from front desk to housekeeping, Mustafa from room service was very nice . my room was cleaned perfectly and with a smile and cheerful spirit by namely Amal , Lamyaa and Hind , I liked their dedication and attention to my room housekeeping requirements , also they responded promptly to my requests without hesitation, a warm Thanks to them , I very much like and enjoy such level of care that is missing in many hotels so definitely I’m coming back in my next visit to Marrakech

The shuttle service from hotel to the town was not up to our expectations. The hotel is about 7 miles from the city centre and the shuttle takes you from hotel to the old city and our request to drop us at a central location enroute was declined unreasonably. If the hotel is keen about attracting overseas visitors they need to change this policy and should be a bit more flexible.

First off the staff was friendly and treated me well and with respect. Unfortunately, the resort itself could use a facelift as it is showing its age. In the peak months, there are a lot (and I mean a lot) of French vacationing at this resort so there is a lot of activity and use. That has taken its toll over the years. It is still a good vacation spot but just a bit worn. Housekeeping needs some attention as I had to call them at least twice a week over the three weeks I stayed there to get items like bath towels that they didn't leave in the room. I don 't think they have enough stock of items like that and have to wash them daily in order to have enough for all the rooms. It is a huge resort. One thing that I did not like is that the staff will not allow you to buy snacks and water from the outside and bring it into the resort. I guess they want you to pay $5 a bottle for their water rather than paying 50 cents for a bottle in the store. That is a big turnoff for me and affects my decision on where to stay when I go back to Marrakech at the end of the year.
