"Owner is very nice and recommended sightseeing places to us. He also contacted us in advance and warn us about the snow and recommend us to get snow tires. Wonderful breakfast. Only concern is the heater in the room wasn’t hot enough but cold is still beareable "

"Not good. Breakfast was not good. Had meal from convenient store instead of hotel. All payment has done when I booked but hotel tried to charge tax when I check out. Terrible!"

"This hotel is an easy walk up the street from the train station and there are numerous dining options in the area. Good home base for exploring Matsumoto. The hotel itself is nice, but the rooms are rather small, if you are used to "Western" accommodations. The baths are very nice, segregated and get a lot of use. The free laundry (wash was free, dryer was not) was a nice feature for travelers. They also offer a free bow of ramen at night!"
