"This motel has been recently refurbished. Great new coat of paint and stylishly decorated. Unfortunately, there was a music festival in town and there were lots of rather noisy patrons in the parking lot and above our room. We found it uncomfortable due to the noise. The motel happily canceled our reservation and didn’t charge us. Great customer service. I would stay there again, just not on a night where there was a music festival!"

"Been there twice for stay during graduation. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided and it’s really well organized. Lots of parking and it’s safe. "

"We loved this beautiful historic hotel. Our spacious, nicely appointed room was in the annex. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but was adequate for our needs. We had happy hour food at the bar, which was very good. I think next time we would try to stay in the tower just to see how those rooms compare. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is super close to many of the tasting rooms in beautiful downtown Walla Walla. We enjoyed our stay at the Marcus Whitman and will stay there again in the future. "
