As soon as we arrived we were told we could not check-in because “every Hilton in the world was going through a tech update” and it had been down since 11 pm the prior evening. The lobby was a disaster with plastic hung and ceiling exposed. Our event was at Hilton Minneapolis, I asked them if things were up and running, and they had no clue what I was talking about stating their systems were fine and I was able to book there. When returning to Double Tree to cancel and grab luggage. The receptionist told me she didn’t blame me for leaving as there was no A/C. I still don’t know exactly what happened, but DoubleTree was clearly in shambles well before our arrival with no notification. Extremely stressful to find yourself with no place to stay when we were there for my daughter to compete in USA gymnastic nationals/Olympic trials. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Our check in time was at 4, we waited in line forever and when it was our turn to check in, they said they didn't have any rooms available for what I booked. To find out the rooms weren't even cleaned yet. There was no AC is the whole building so it was very warm and sticky. Just a very run down hotel.

We arrived late to check in and were told they weren’t able to check anyone in as their systems were down. The air was not working, the fans they gave us were horrible. we had to ask for more towels 3 times before they came, the elevator alarm went off all the time, we had no coffee or cups in our room we had to switch rooms because of a broken toilet in the room. The staff did nothing to accommodate our issues, all around rude like we were an inconvenience.

The air conditioning was out and we didn’t know that until we got there and our stay was in June. The room was hot and the toilet had feces in it when we got there. They gave us free parking to make up for the no air conditioning. The staff was overall nice but my experience with complaining at hotels has been horrible because they don’t seem to want to help you. The underground parking was a good bonus and it was within walking distance to target field. The building and room seemed very secure/safe.

No air. But the biggest thing was that the shower didn’t work. Tried calling the desk several times and no answer. Went down there and they said they would send someone to fix or move us to a new room. No one showed up. Went back to desk and they said the same thing no one showed up and never got a new room after trying to call again several times. 3rd time staying at this hotel and everytime gets progressively worse. That was the last chance for me. Very bad experiences.

Ac was out all night and on to the next day till and probably beyond our check out. Their solution to this was tovsleep with the windows open. Only reason we did not leave was because it was already late and we were traveling with our child. We were on the12th floor, it was raining so they had a storage container and 2 buckets collecting the water.

I gave this hotel a high review due to them being honest we me. Right away at check in I was informed that AC unit was not in working condition and was giving the options to opt out of the reservation with a full refund back. I decided to stay the night anyway which was not bad. The hotel was nice to remove the parking fees also which was generous of them. Overall my stay was nice, room was very spacious and clean. Love the Complementary cookies given to us! The only issue I had was noise from the street from fight outside at 3am which was not the fault of the hotel.

Almost to check in at 10 pm with two kids when they informed us there was no air conditioning, parking lot was $30. Got to the room, decent size. Bathroom was super small. Had refrigerator which is awesome. Ice machine on our floor was out of serve. Parking lot was very badly designed and expensive.
