"The hotel is located in Mission Valley which is pretty central to most San Diego attractions and hip areas to eat and drink. However, the day we checked out, there was an issue with the hot water in the shower and it didn't get hot enough. We were leaving so we didn't press it. "

"Overall it was an OK stay. The front desk person when we checked was really friendly and helpful. This is the reason for the 4 stars. "My families stay here at the Springfield was wonderful. There was plenty of space for us in the room, including for my doggy. The room was very clean, no funny smells. Pool area was nice as well as the lobby. They have lots of snacks and even beer and wine to purchase there in the lobby.
