"Do not book this hotel. I booked it for a night stay before our cruise last week in March 2020. When we showed up this hotel was closed/shutdown. No one had informed us and it was and is still bookable on hotels.com. Angry is an understatement. There were multiple people standing outside of this hotel trying to get answers. And no no had any! "Good, convenient location in Downtown. Hotel needs a major refurbishment. Ancient AC/Heat unit could only groan and look filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't close, warped, and toilet seat broken. Ceiling of bathroom/microwave cracked with peeling paint and paint chips on the floor. Door to room was not very secure. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were good. "The Battle House is a beautiful property conveniently located in downtown Mobile. Parking in the parking deck was super easy with plenty of spots available. The hotel is gorgeous and we enjoyed the heated roof top pool! We would definitely stay here again!!"
