"Amazing experience and service "

"What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. "It's never fun to arrive at a place and see that it's for sale, but it is what it is. The couple running the place were welcoming and I wish them all the best in finding someone to run this old inn that has a lot of history, a building part of the Montebello town, and has soo much potential for growth."

"It was a nice stay. The place is in good condition and it's comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and food was really good. However I expected more choices in the Breakfast service, like hot food (scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash brown) and higher quality cheeses. Also, was surprised that the indoor pool was cold. At this time of year, a warm indoor pool is really an expected option."

"Nice, comfortable beds. Great shower. Coffeemaker worked, and there was coffee, but not enough coffee for even a couple of cups. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room."

"I loved the atmosphere and the attentive staff. We chose the dining option and were not disappointed—the food was good, but the entertainment was truly exceptional. Watching the sunset against the mountains while enjoying our meal and listening to the music was a memorable experience. It's definitely something worth experiencing for yourself!"
