""La collina" in the hotel name means "hill" and with this you end up with a great view from your balcony. "B&B La Collina del Sagrantino" is a recently built 2006 family villa with a flair of ancient architecture. The staff is composed of the owner family. The son, Stefano, and his mother greeted us when we arrived in the evening. They are quite friendly and provided us with a wealth of information. For the first morning we were provided free breakfast items to get us started....

"Villa Pambufetti is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the walls of Montefalco so very easy to walk into the village for dinner. If, like us, an air conditioned room is essential then I suggest you call the hotel prior to your visit to make sure it is working. We booked a superior room for 2 nights but the ac wasn’t working and when we asked to move room we were told there wasn’t any air conditioning in the hotel. "The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. I was only staying one night and I asked for an upgrade to a room with a view towards the pool. The price they quoted me was significantly more expensive.
