"The place is beautiful. You are surrounded by nature and its relaxing. There is no a/c but it can get cold at night by the breeze. Careful not to leave windows open without a screen cos there are a lot of insects. Some of the staff are warm and helpful, others didn’t even care to greet. The only complaint I have is their food. Tried their breakfast and dinner, but the food was not so great. There are other options outside the hotel tho. But overall the place is great if you want a quiet place. I cannot rate it as a 5 star hotel tho."

"This was an amazing hotel, it was near the cloud foreat and it had its own forest that you could take night guided tours or walk during the day. It was close to town too. We highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff at Poco a Poco were so incredibly kind and accommodating, they were a pleasure every time we had a question or needed something. The amenities of the property were clean and well-maintained, having a covered pool and hot tub was such a big plus for us since we visited during the rainy season. The property even has a walking trail on its grounds where you can see capuchin monkeys in the trees above you! They're also in the process of updating and revamping the interiors of some of the units, so I can only imagine how much better the property will be after! I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay again during my next time in Monteverde! "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located close to downtown monte verde, the staff are very friendly, the landscaping is pretty, the rooms are very clean. Free breakfast and free parking on site. It was very affordable. "
