"We had just arrived into Montevideo and this was our first stay. The property itself is unique. There are many upgrades needed, but there is a charm that in a sense, could represent the ever changing society and population of the city. The property is located alongside the square where sitting out for your afternoon Matte, you may see the same people returning from work or school as you did in the morning. "Spent three nights. Nice modern hotel. Large room with 2 double beds, large bathroom, kitchen area. Exercise room, tiny pool (2 ft depth), & sauna on top floor. Standard SA breakfast. Wine tasting every evening. Staff was generally okay. Be warned, there are a lot of fees on top of the room cost. Of course, breakfast & wine tasting. But also change of towels & change of linens that were not explained up front. It adds up."
