"Even though it was a brief overnight stay with an early start in the morning I was very impressed with the property. There was just one wee housekeeping issue of finding a few hairs but apart from that the property is clean & the room was comfortable. Excellent location & quiet. Will use again as I often stop over in Tekapo. Thank you "

"Buerkes Pass is a quirky and interesting little place to see (look online). The motel is directly across the road which was good. The setting is in beautiful countryside. You can sit outside in the garden and admire the views. You can even help to feed their sheep. The rooms are fairly small but have been well designed to have everything you need. Comfortable bed, good shower, microwave, hot plate etc.. All good. Best of all though was the relaxed friendly feeling about the place. Lovely people...

"Fantastic spot peacefull safe and lovely neighborhood sounding. Cars safe left on side of road . Only one thing as on a walker would've been nice to have a path of somesort to get to stairs to climb up to make easier . Over all perfect accommodation. Will rebook again and affordability."

"Good place close to the Tekapo lake and they have a good kitchen to make your food and also, they had washrooms and toilets close to the room rather than holiday parks so that's a good advantage. "

"We stayed at the Shearers Quarters and it was a lovely stay. There was a dedicated parking space, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub and comfortable king size bed. Easy walking access into town and helpful hosts. Our stargazing tour was canceled due to cloudy weather but the office for that was right down the street. "
