"I had a very pleasant stay at the Welbeck. My ferry didn't arrive in Douglas until 10pm so I was grateful I could check into the Welbeck until 11pm. My room was comfortable and although the shower room was small it was fine. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were friendly and welcoming which all makes for an enjoyable stay. Thank you to all the staff. "

"I had a very comfortable stay at the George which was in a convenient location for my particular visit to the Isle of Man on this occasion. My room was good with an ensuite bathroom which was fine. "Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily.
