I booked this thinking it would be a nice hotel/ryokan and left with tears of joy, warmth, and happiness. The team here was so hospitable that this is also an understatement. This is a small business so it doesn't feel corporate but as if you are in their home (in the best of ways). Beyond this, I haven't slept on a more comfortable bed and pillow in ages. "Service was excellent. Owner was super nice. This was a super convinient hotel to stay as the convinience store was located right across the street. The snow gear rental was one shop over. The nearest restuarant was 50 feet away. Would I return? 100% i would. "

"This place was perfect for traveling on a budget. The owners bent over backwards to accommodate all their guests. I will definitely come again. Be sure to get their breakfast in the morning!!! They may not be next door to an onsen, but their tub is a good second runner up for a tired person at the end of a long day of snow play."

"Singaporean family of 6, hard to fault anything. Most staff can speak basic English and attention is rendered to all appopriately, young and old. Onsen has different pool and some are not just warm enough for young kids to soak and enjoy. Food great Sleep mattress is Beauty Rest, futon might be alittle too thin for me but good for all kids. "

"Pros: 1. Location is super good as it’s close to the ski lift. 2. Bed is very comfy and room is big. 3. Breakfast is good! 4. Staff are in generally nice. Cons: 1. The front desk lady talks too fast! 2. No Yukata (bath robe) provided in the room even thou they have onsen (hot spring), that makes it hard to go to onsen. And the opening hour of the onsen is very limited, only form 4-9pm. 3. Room is kind of too hot and no control to adjust the air con or heat. 4. No socket in the washroom so...
