"The property is a beautiful old historic home and the owners did a tour which was very interesting. The rooms are quaint but quite small and full of potentially breakable things so need to be less cluttered. The mattress was not good and the bed really creaked. They give you breakfast and I emailed to say I had a food allergy but this was ignored which was all a bit awkward as no choice. The place is peaceful and quiet and well situated for the historical homes tour."

"the hotel was clean and very comfortable room. only thing I would recommend is if you have long hair, you should bring your own conditioner because theirs doesn't really condition. "

"We’ve never encountered a friendlier staff. There were a few quirks such as shower doors off track. We were upgraded to a nicer room because window blinds were not functioning. Property is under renovation so some problems will be resolved no doubt."
