"Very clean, quiet and everything you need for a short stay - close and in walking distance to everything in town. Lovely hosts."

"We weren't expecting much from this lodge given the low price. But it hugely exceeded our expectations. On arrival at 7pm after a long drive, it was easy to find and park. The receptionist gave us a welcome that was so friendly and enthusiastic, it put most other hotels to shame. While the room was quite small and the bathroom shared (as we'd expected), it was nice and warm, giving us an instant boost on a cold night, and the bed was extremely comfortable. This is about a 5 minute drive to the main area with cafe and shops so you’ll need a car to get to and from food, but would definitely book here again without a doubt. "Immaculate 2 bedrooms villa, beautiful mountain view and plenty of space for a family of 4. They offered free DVDs, very clean coin operated laundry room. Plenty of coffee, tea selection and generous milk provided. Highly recommend to stay at 5 stars Glenfern villa."

"This place was adequate for our two-night stay. Strong backpacker vibe, with free breakfast (waffles, cereal, toast) and evening soup. Helpful staff. The location was great. The room itself was dated and pretty small. I'd say this is a case of you get what you pay for. It was very affordable and great if you're looking to connect with other travelers, but I think I would personally spring for a place a bit more modern with more amenities next time. "
