"Great location and the food was good. We only purchased the breakfast option since we knew we would be out sightseeing and may not eat lunch and dinner there most days. However, we were not disappointed on the days we had lunch and dinner at the hotel. We celebrated our honeymoon there, and the Renaissance made it special with champagne and chocolates waiting in our room when we arrived. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others."

"Great location!!! Lovely curb appeal!!! Magnificent view on Queen Emma Floating bridge. Restaurant facing Anna Bay with great view on Punda historic properties. Room is very small; no chairs. Last year, we had a large room but again no sitting area. Quality linen; good supplies of towels and supplies. Coffee maker. Few steps from Kura Hulanda Village , UNESCO site; And the Museum!!! And a lovely attractive pool. Overall beautiful!!! "

"This is a nice resort. However if you need air conditioning while you’re eating this is not the place for you. The beaches are rocky and hard to access. The restaurants are only open certain hours and certain days. The staff can be rude and don’t expect refills on drinks. "

"I generally sought out local boutique hotels in my travel. Love the staff, esp Miguel. The hotel has a different vibe not like chain hotels. The rooms are nicely appointed with a giant bathroom. The landscaping felt like a luscious garden. Being inside the Kura Hulanda was a plus."
