"We LOVED our stay at Pestana Porto - A Brasileira. The location is sooo perfect. It felt great to be able to walk “home” within 15 min from most places. We stayed during the sao joao festival so the location was key! The rooms were tidy and clean, although we put the Do Not Disturb sign on for our entire stay so can’t comment on the cleaning service. The sheets were clean and I loved they provide so many pillows of different sizes and fluffiness! We would definitely consider booking again next time we’re in Porto!"

"This was a great hotel. Located right on the water. Great views and lots of things happening there. Lovely location, lots of restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like were the steep hills but that’s all over Portugal. "

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Room (Queen bed on 4th floor) was clean and well presented with an excellent shower. However, Room needed some brighter lighting, preferably ceiling light and a chair for the foldaway desk. Arms on the bed could do with a good scrub / replace and no coffee or tea, despite a kettle in the room? If you leave the hotel and turn left towards up the hill you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants leading down the high street which is pedestrianised (Rua de Santa Catarina). However, if you turn right out if the hotel you get a fair amount of homeless people and street drinking esp under the nearby flyover roads. "
