"This property is essentially a B&B. don’t let the exterior scare you off. Room was very clean and the property had a rooftop terrace. Alessandro is a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Bear in mind there is no elevator so you need to climb about 5 flight of stairs. The room was very large by European standards, with a king size bed in one room and a twin bed bunk in a semi-private alcove. Bathroom facilities were super clean and modern. "Ok for budget accomodarion. However, rooms less agreeable than the ones shown on the web/expedia page. Spacious but very basic. The area surrounding the hotel is filthy dirty and even worse in some other neighbourhoods. Palermo has household garbage piled up at almost every corner - just not on the main tourist attractions. Palermo makes Napoli appear spotless."
