"Three days to explore Vatican City, the hotel is well situated for that area. The staff were extraordinary. The room was spacious, clean. Family friendly. The terrace bar is nice for an evening relaxing moment. The first floor is noisy for the street traffic. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend."

"We stayed at QC for an 18 hour layover in Rome. It was the most perfect place to spend our short time in Italy. The hotel is about 2 miles from the airport but you feel like you’re in the Italian Countryside. Upon entering the grounds you see the beautiful buildings and a greeted by a lovely staff. Check in took two minutes and then we were off to our room to quickly change and head off to the spa. Upon entering the room you are surprised by its charm and character. The spa is so relaxing and it was so nice to have an Italian experience because the majority of people were Italians who had come for the day. We enjoyed the many outdoor large jacuzzi tubs and then we headed inside to enjoy the different options. I loved the scented Turkish steam bath and the waterfall showers. We spent about two hours relaxing and then went to our room to get ready for dinner at the absolutely gorgeous restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we were able to relax beside the warm fire next to our table. After a good nights sleep we went to get coffee at the lobby building but got a bit confused and asked the waiter at the restaurant where to go. We knew that we were going to miss our breakfast because it only opened at 7:30 and we need3d to leave at 7:45. Horacio, the sweetest guy, invited us in to enjoy the breakfast buffet at 7 even though it wasn’t officially open. The buffet was spectacular and Horacio was a dream refilling our coffees before we had a chance to ask."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mama Shelter Roma. It was very easy to walk a few blocks to the train station and make our way out to many other points of interest. Also Mama Shelter has the best pizza hands down!!! And an awesome staff!!!"
