"I'd like to give Hotel Cheval a 4.5. Good points: beautiful property, right in the middle of Paso Robles, with s'mores @ night and nice breakfast in the morning. Not as good: there is kind of an odd vibe to the place: extremely expensive for limited amenities ($600+/night) but staff seemed...green. I recommend the property but would only stay there again at a lower rate."

"Very nice. Hotel renovations are almost complete. Nice grounds for a stroll, a couple nice firepits, pool, spa all updated. We didn’t get to try the Steakhouse or the upstairs lounge, but they looked awesome too. Great location across from Central Park. We’ll be back."
