"This hotel had a great location within walking distance of Cusco Cathedral and was a short Uber ride to the airport. The room didn't have A/C, and in typical Peru fashion you can't flush toilet paper. The room was clean, and they offered free breakfast. It would be nice if the room had a fan or A/C because it did get a little stuffy at night. Overall, I'd stay here again."

"The Hotel El Virrey is just about the only hotel directly on and facing the historic Plaza de Armas. It’s ideal for exploring the center of old Cusco. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as possible. The breakfast included with a night’s stay is typical of most Peruvian hotels but doesn’t start until 6:30 am which doesn’t work travellers doing an early start to Machu Picchu.
