"The resort was very nice. Was cool to see all the different wildlife like monkeys raccoons, kudamundi and loads of birds. My kids loved the water park which was right outside of our room. The Riviera was the best à la carte. As far as taste and serving size went. The buffet and Mexican buffet were also very good with loads of selections. Wasn't too big on the Brazilian steakhouse as we found the meat to be a bit over cooked. The pools were also nice. The beach was ok but had massive rocks so it...

"This is my second stay at Catalonia Playa Maroma. The first stay was in a Privileged Superior room which gives you the option of having 2 large beds but is not fully updated, just refreshed (bathroom and floors are still old). This time we stayed in a Privileged Suite. On Expedia it says you can get King bed or 2 double, that is not true. Because it's a suite, it doesn't have room for two double bed.
