"This is an older style motel but the rooms have been decorated very tastefully and our room was extremely comfortable. I particularly liked what they have done with the bathroom decor. The gentleman at reception was very helpful. The only snag was that I could hear the snoring from the person in the next room. :)"

"Amazingly beautiful hotel. Very historic, and more like a bnb then a hotel. Sherry and fruit bread in the parlor provided. Owner was very gracious. The garden was also open and delightful - went on a gnome hunt."

"For the price, very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities. The staff in the attached restaurant were lovely and the food was great. There were no early checkout instructions for when reception is closed, so it was unclear what to do with the room key. I recommend adding an out of hours key drop, or at least instructions in the room guide. "
