Really enjoyed our stay, staff were super friendly, room was clean, spacious and had all we needed. It's so convenient for all the lovely markets, restaurants and shops. Beach is even walkable if you don't mind the cobbles/steps. The only constructive thing here was the noise - we got woken up every night/early AM due to the next rooms alarm, reception phone ringing and someone being locked out of their room. Otherwise, loved it.

This is an amazing place. Still has the original bones of the building, beautiful staircase, quaint corners, amazing ceilings but the rooms are modern and super clean. Just a 3 minute walk from the metro and plenty shops and restaurants. Alison was such great help by recommending a local restaurant and even wrote down her favorite dish to help us with the menu. Amazing place to stay with lots of night life not to far away. Will be staying here again.

I had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast they brought to your room every morning was delicious! It was a nice, small boutique hotel. My room was the first one off the lobby so I didn't get to see much else, but from what I saw, the building was beautiful! I had a great view from my room with a balcony.

We were greeted by an incredible team at the FLH Santa Catarina. From the initial contact via the Expedia app to plan our arrival time to all the help and explanations during our short stay in Porto, we were thrilled by our choice. The rooms are clean, well sound-proofed, and the hotel is extremely well located. Walking distance from all major attractions and super close to the must-eat restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

The property is in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a room- delivered breakfast that includes everything. It was delicious. Lots of added touches- complimentary port and an evening fresh made cakes. We plan to stay here again!

We love FLH hotel, it has everything: great location — right on shopping street; have free breakfast, free coffee/tea/bottle water/afternoon deserts; front desk is super nice and helpful; room is clean and has everything from shampoo to hair conditioner, body lotion, etc. room has high ceiling and very comfortable; it is easy to go to other places by walk;

Our room was without air conditioning since the beginning, the thermostat wasn’t functioning, the staff fixed for few minutes and then broken 😡 again. We saw many reviews from other customers with the same problem. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff ((Luisa, Beatriz, Carla and others) went over and above to make our stay in Porto comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful except for one who was trying to be nice but couldn’t help her expression of being impatient to me. It was just the coffee maker which was not familiar to me but she had to sigh and made me feel like an idiot. I asked why they don’t have a small basket for garbage on the third floor and she said because the owners think it doesn’t look pretty so she said for me to just put my garbage anywhere on the table which for me would look more unbecoming. The same person I asked why we only had 1 small toilet roll and she said this was not a hotel, this was a bed and breakfast with an attitude and just invited me to say it all in the review so people in charge can make the changes. I found out later on that she worked a 2-day shift and must be tired. I think the place is ok but she can improve on her patience when dealing with clients. It’s not the best place to share with male friends because I feel the glass bathrooms are not very private. Not everyone traveling is a couple. The area was great, close to everything. Breakfast was ok. Stairs we are aware of but be ready for really a lot of stairs. Staffs were nice to help me with my luggage though and I appreciated it. I want to special mention Carla as the best staff we met there. Great warm personality and is very helpful and patient.

Different to soulless hotels. Really great staff, lovely rooms, fabulous breakfast brought to the room every morning. Nice personal touches. Plus a constant supply of free drinks and gorgeous cake! (You get used to the stairs after a day.) No complaints.

The location is perfect that means you can walk anywhere. The staff is outstanding and Beatriz should get a pay raise! Our room was small but cleverly designed. They recommended a free 3 hour walking tour called Porto walkers and it was informative and the guides just work for tips. When I become an ex pat I want to move to Porto!

The hotel is conveniently located near both the subway and the Sao Bento railway station. Major tourist sites are within a short walk. The staff is delightful and the in-room breakfast was delicious and catered to the preferences of each guest.
