GHT is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s the kind of hotel you won’t want to leave. I will definitely be back! Pros: - The beds are very comfortable - The food is excellent with many options and different restaurants available on site - The staff is welcoming and accommodating. They work hard to make you feel at home. They’re also very helpful when it comes to booking excursions and taxi services. - The views from the hotel are amazing - It’s very clean and well kept Cons: - There are a lot of steps to get around. Elevators are available but some steps are unavoidable. - The place is a maze. It takes a day or so to figure out where everything is - It’s a bit removed from other cities so you’ll need a taxi, boat or long walk to go into any city

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Trentone Hotel in Praiano, Italy, for our first anniversary and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive staff made us feel like royalty. The views overlooking the Amalfi Coast were breathtaking, and the hotel's location provided the perfect balance of tranquility and easy access to nearby towns like Positano and Amalfi. The hotel provides transportation in a Mercedes. Our room was a dream—elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every modern comfort, yet still exuding the charm of Italian luxury. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the view and expresso on the terrace will never get old. The breakfast was delightful with fresh pastries, customized omelets, and locally sourced ingredients, was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch. The stairs to the pool was an unforgettable experience in itself. The pool with a private beach offered stunning views, and the on-site restaurant served the most delicious dishes. Whether it was a casual meal by the pool or a romantic dinner with the sunset as our backdrop, every dining experience was impeccable. Grand Trentone offers an extraordinary blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Italian hospitality. We left with memories that will last a lifetime, and we can’t wait to return. The hotel is stunning and the views from the water and views from the rooms are incredible. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is helpful and we loved the breakfast with amazing coffee each morning. The bistro and poolside cafe were mediocre and just average hotel food. It was great they have a dock so our boat service could pick us up from there. The nightly FREE shuttle to Praiano each night was a great bonus. We had dinner in Praiano 2 nights and appreciated not needing to worry about getting there and back.

Loved the view. If you are looking for the best view on the Amalfi coast you will have it here. Staff was amazing. AC was best on the trip for sure of all hotels over 3 weeks in Italy!!! Only thing bad, the caesar salad at the pool was HOT, like it was horrible. Please dont feed that anymore unless it comes chilled with the chicken on top. The salad should not be HOT!! Will reccomend the hotel to MANY others, but not the HOT salad!!

The staff was extremely accommodating on our stay. Each staff member treats you as royalty, especially Rocco and the wait staff. My boyfriend and I experienced a small issue with our room upon check in and after notifying the reception desk we were assigned a new room just to avoid any discomfort. In addition, the team gave us a bottle of champagne to enjoy in our new (upgraded) room. The food and drinks by the pool was incredible. We would definitely stay here again.
