"Although I was in an 8 bed dorm with a youth group aged 11 to 14 I was not as surprised as they were when I moved in. As retired teacher I was used to children like them but they went quiet when I walked into the dorm. The youth leader tried to get me moved out but this was the only bottom bunk in the massive modern Generator Hostel. "This is a budget hotel, very central. Rooms equipped with bare minimum for your stay ( towels, bedlinen, hairdryer). Very nice buffet breakfast served till midday. There is also a bar, so you can have a drink before bed. You can walk to Alexander Platz, but be aware it is 4 stops by tram. "
