"We stayed at Villa del sol for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. It is a relaxing oasis outside of the main city of Máncora. It remains walkable, but the area is under development so having a little flashlight was useful at night. The room we had was charming and really romantic. All amenities were available, there was a minibar and snacks if needed. The included breakfasts were very good. "Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."

"This place has a lot of potential but it's lacking in many areas. I give it 2.5 out 5 stars but with some easy fixes it could be 4 or 5 star stay.
