"Right next to Tres Cantos train station which made it getting to Madrid city centre efficient. Average time to get to the city centre is around 30-45 mins which is the only downside but for the price it was worth it. Right next to a big grocery market, made getting snacks and drinks or meals super easy. Very friendly front desk staff "

"We love this hotel and have been here many times. It’s simple in terms of decor. Our bed this time (rm 403) was the most comfortable we’ve had. It’s a small room, not for too tall people as an alcove. Best location, super staff, lovely bar and outdoor seating, less than a minute to the Monastery and all the best restaurants."

"We had a lovely stay at San Lorenzo Suites. Located in the middle of town, it is very walkable to El Escorial, dinning options and shopping. The hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. The room was very clean looked recently renovated. The breakfast, served in your room, was great. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"A good stay but it would have been better if the bar was open, not just at weekends and there was an option for the evening meal (which was OK but only just). The evening meal was "almost cold" seafood soup followed by "warm" salmon. No choice. We weren't even told about it. Staff were great and what made the visit extra special was the beautiful mass the following morning at 11:00. It says it's a 13 min walk but it's not, you need a car. Very weak wifi in the room and no aircon which would be...
