"The apartments are new but the accommodation for 5 people was inadequate, we were packed in like sardines with no air conditioning, asked if we could get fans for the room and was told ‘it’s hot out here too’, we had to pay if we needed our towels changed which is terrible, needless to say we wouldn’t stay here again"

"Apartment was very unclean. Soap dispensers empty and we couldn’t work out how to use them. Was very hot few days and the fan didn’t work so had to sleep with windows open which was awful as neighbouring apartments are so close there is no privacy and hard to get any sleep with so much constant noise and terrible smells from out the window made it a very unpleasant stay. Very overpriced for the condition and amenities - more like a private room in a noisy hostel than a “cosy” apartment....

"Great location on walking distance of 2 fairly good and fair priced restaurants (Il Castello, which we tried ourselves). Restaurant Zum Speicher also has a good review, from the subway (station Berlin-Buch is on walking distance. From berlin-Buch to Alexanderplatz is by S2-U2 only a 40 minutes ride, change at Pankow). Villa-Hufeland has all necessary amenities, but no breakfast (frühstück). Coffee and tea in the morning is lacking, this would help for the first morning. A large Kaufland...

"Had a wonderful stay at Smartments Prenzlauer Berg. Facility is modern, clean and located adjacent to the Landsberger Allee S-Bahn station - making transportation super convenient. There is a large grocery store within a block. There is a Doner restaurant that is open 24 hours (as of Sept 2024) next to the apartment complex. Room equipped with small refrigerator. Bed low but comfy. No air conditioning but did not need in September. Fan in room - which would definitely need in summer month....
