Worth going to as part of the Sintra trip but day was spoilt by rain

Lovely beaches and a great promenade walk way between Estorill and Cascais, again just a 45min train journey from Lisbon, definitely worth a day trip.
Avoid tourist restuarants in the town centre and head for the marina instead where there are good, less crowded restaurants.
Very crowded and commercialised
Great views and a nice beach town but a bit touristy half a day is more than enough to explore
