"The Dakota provides a wonderful experience: good locality, wonderful staff, a comfortable room with a lovely bed and pillows, a great bathroom with the most efficient shower I've seen in a hotel, and excellent on-site dining. Our treatment on our early arrival was friendly and efficient, with prompt storage of our bags, and advice about where to spend our waiting time. When we checked in, the bags were in the room before us. The bed and bedding were so comfortable and included two delightful throws. The bathroom shower deserves accolades- no more struggling to understand how to turn it on, getting wet in the process, or standing coldly waiting to get it right. The shower turns on at a distance from the shower head - press before you get in, press as you emerge. The towels are large and there are several. No awful contraptions on the wall to dispense toiletries, bottles and a shower cap. We had dinner at the restaurant, and a room service meal. Both were delicious, with a particularly good menu at the restaurant. Please, Dakota, open in London, preferably on the Ellizabeth line so I can check in on my way from Heathrow! One glitch, in case readers think this is all too good to be true - the patch of steam free glass in the bathroom mirror was a little high for me. "
