"Their service is good. Although they have provided a kettle (subject for availability) as per my request, it could have been better if there is already one in the room (same as other hotels). Ive rated the service 4 because when I checked in, the staff took my credit card so they could charge me if something say is damaged. I clarified this with Joel when we checked out, ie. If they will check our room, but he said no need. They will charge me say for breakfast (not covered by our reservation)....

"I had an excellent experience staying at Acta Atrium. The staff were friendly, especially Priscilla and another lady (of Italian origin). Additionally, the room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. I would recommend Acta Atrium to anyone going Barcelona. I was a bit apprehensive initially coming from the UK but the hotel lived up to the 4 star rating."

"Hotel was amazing all around and the personal is fantastic!! BUT the area where its located is the worse area of Barcelona, (Called El Raval). We have been in few cities around the world(Even Medellin or Mexico City DF)and we never felt more insecure than this area before, is something that we cant explain in few words. I wish Barcelona authorities take some actions to clean up and take control of this area in the near future. Again, this have nothing to do with the Hotel amenities. "
