"The staff were very courteous. My bathroom , especially the shower was in need of a proper cleaning. There was visible mildew on the grout and tiles. The faucet would do well with some baking soda and vinegar. It was thoughly stained with limescale. The worst part of our stay however, was waking up to no tap water on the second day of our stay. Overall it's a beautiful property, it is just in need of some TLC. "

"Our nanny Deborah was amazing, she kids loved her. The owner is such a kind, down to earth person. The staff were incredible, they made us feel welcome and were so sweet with our kids. The food was delicious. It's a perfect destination if you are travelling with young children and although the property is quite outdated (but very clean), we would love to come back. "

"Nicer than I expected. Charming hotel with fine dining. The food was amazing. I utilized their room service and it was handled very well. Attractive pool with nice umbrellas and chairs. Pretty manicured lawns around entrance. I loved the Cardiff Hall private beach! The hotel shuttle driver was efficient and a nice guy. Everybody there tries very hard. It was a good find.
