"Check in closes at 10.00.p.m. at a major tourist area. The plane with tourists from the capital, Helsinki, does not arrive at the closest airfield until 10.30.p.m. They need to consider this. The afterhours lockbox is situated outside. It was minus 25 Celsius and dark when we arrived. The lockboxes inside need two fingers for the metal buttons on either side. I still have peeling finger skin two weeks later from having to touch them. The lockbox should be situated in an inside lobby - very poor....

"The actual room was really clean and comfy and about exactly what you would expect. The only real downside was that the way they handle reception can be quite confusing and I assume it is especially for non natives."

"The cabin/apartment was ok for two but for three/ four the lounge bed was very uncomfortable and kept collapsing. There were no basics like salt , pepper oil , but on the whole it was clean warm and convenient with a 10 min walk to centre. "

"It was a cute and clean apartment. We were a group of 4 and the room is good for 6. The space is just right us as we have big luggages. It's located on the 2nd floor. The price that we got already includes breakfast so it was a good deal. We had a bit of a challenge finding the accommodation as the key didn't work the first time but thankfully we were assisted by the tour operator we went with on the night we checked in. "Beautiful cabin, and the Christmas tree and decoration was a lovely touch. The cabin is perfectly located in the centre of Saariselka next to the Holiday Club Resort (where all of our booked excursions picked up from) and by the bus stop for the airport bus. Everything we needed was within a 5 minute walk. As the back and sides are surrounded by trees and pathways, looking out the window was like staying out in seclusion in the woods, it made for beautiful photos. The deck outside behind the...

"The property had everything required for a comfortable stay - the kitchen was fully equipped. The bedroom walls are a bit thin and you can “hear” everything in the adjacent apt bedroom. The signs and directions are in Finnish But that aside the sauna is huge and the whole apt is absolutely welcoming "

"The facilities are new and very clean. Place is cozy. Check in was not easy. You must have a car to go from the place where you pick up the keys to the room. We got there late at night and picked up the keys in a green box in a parking lot. We got lost while looking for the room, road and access to the building were not clear, there was at least one foot of snow. Definitely not a walkable distance to do with luggage, children or seniors."
