"Staff were lovely and the hotel, rooms, beds, everything inside, very clean. Breakfast was good and there were lots of options. It's not the most upscale neighbourhood and being very close to Reeperbahn, there are some people living on the street. They are not aggressive and I never felt unsafe, even very late and walking alone (female). Plenty of drunk party people around as it's that kind of neighbourhood. Close to the S Bahn, so very easy to get around."

"Very unique décor. Fun. Only negative was that despite there being an elevator, the hallway had series of stairs that made moving heavy luggage difficult."

"The USP for this hotel is the room space, it is like an apartment inside with well maintained stylish furnishings. The room has great amenities and is good value for money. I make a point of staying here whenever I visit Hamburg, its that good. "

"Lovely hotels with wonderful rooms and all the basic amenities. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip. Staff is wonderful and lovely and the sushi is divine "
