Unspoilt gem
What a fantastic hidden gem. We were moved to this Chateau when we were unable to access our reserved accommodation and this was our reward. Stunning Chateau in unspoilt countryside with a fabulous host in Eric. Never been to this part of France before and we’re using this as a stop off on our trip to south Spain, but would love to visit again

Interesting!
Just a little bit quirky, this place is out of the ordinary with its medieval decor and its super friendly host, Eric. We'll try to get back there in summer when we enjoy its facilities far more. Well, well worth a visit!

Quirky and interesting
This is an interesting little Chambre d’hote in a small village. The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming. We ate the evening meal, plentiful local food. The rooms are very quirky, we had a suit of armour in ours, but clean. Be sure to visit the nearby village of Usson with the ruined castle of La Reine Margot and amazing columnar basalt outcrops.

Nice stay near Issoire, France
Nice. The hotel is an old Chateau and the room was beautiful. Very familiar. Highly recommended for everyone who has business in Issoire or Clermont-Ferrand.

La salle de bain n'avait pas de porte dans la chambre, la chambre était trop petite et inconfortable. Le petit déjeuner était très basique (croissant, café, jus de fruits et petites crêpes). Le prix était trop cher pour ce qui est proposé.

Déçue, j espere que hotels.com apporteront répons
Lieu sympathique, malheureusement pas satisfait , nous avions pris cet hébergement pour 2 nuits puisque nous allions à un mariage, impossible de s habiller avant la cérémonie. A 10 h.nous devions quitte le lieu, impossible d y revenir avant 17 h . ce qui nous a déplu puisque nous avons du aller dans un autre lieu pour nous habiller. L hote nous a indique que c c'était précisé mais rien n apparait sur sa fiche.? ..après le lendemain petit dejeuner à 9h..pas.trop de souplesse pour nous qui avions fait la fete Le lieu est sympathique, literie correct, par contre dormir avec une couette sans housse manque un peu d hygiène.

Das Hotel und das ganze Ambiente ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Ich hätte mir nur gerne ein Glas Wein abends im Garten gewünscht. Leider hat sich der Besitzer nicht mehr blicken lassen, auch nicht nach mehrmaligem klingeln. Das Frühstück fand ich nur mit Marmelade und Honig etwas dürftig. Kein Käse, kein Schinken… nichts. Schade, hat den ganzen Aufenthalt etwas getrübt
