"This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie! "

"So peaceful and great countryside. Spotlessly clean, Shower is hot and plenty of water. Loved the setting in a rural farming community. Wonderful polite People there. It's a must stay if you are working near by or out for day trips. Everything is secure in parking and rooms. I loved this place. My only disapointment was I cound't take the three friendly goats home from the front yard. This is a must stay at place.I can't praise it enought. Thank you for a fantastic few days while I put flowers...

"Superb communication ahead of us travelling and an excellent friendly welcome from antoine. Showed us around sand made us feel at home. Gave us advice on things to do and suggestions on where to eat. Simple but fresh & tasty breakfast ready in the morning was provided at out convenience. "The listing here doesn't mention that these are essentially student dorms. Nothing wrong with that at all and these are really well priced and quite nice dorms at that. Given these house students, you can see some hard miles on the property but maintenance is kept up. It's a very good budget stay and reasonably close to some restaurants and shopping. It's not terribly close to the main beach (~8 minutes by bike, ~25-30 minutes walk). I wouldn't rule it out for future stays."

"Access to the hotel is via a large gate on the main street. Other than the signage on the gate, the property is not visible from the main street. The hotel surrounds a lovely garden. The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Parking is on street or at Jean Bart underground parking at the top of the street, I would definitely utilise again."
