"The hotel and staff were excellent. I would stay here again. The hotel is located within the old town area and is mostly pedestrian. There is some parking at 17 Euro per night but it is limited and tight. The standard room is a bit small but who comes to Salzburg to sit in a hotel room. There are many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. A warning about the area is to keep a watchful eye out for cyclists - it seems they have the right of way over pedestrians!"

"This is an older family-owned hotel that is quiet and clean. The staff were friendly and informative. The included breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We found a slight odour of cigarette smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. There is an excellent Thai restaurant just across the street."

"The property is well kept and staff were available at all times to answer queries. There was an issue with the size of the room on night one and no compensation as the hotel believe that Expedia misadvertise the size but they moved us to a King sized room (as booked) for night 2 and this was a lovely stay. I would recommend calling them before to confirm the size of room if 2 adults sharing."

"The property was very clean and upscale. They had a breakfast option (we didn’t use) but that looked wonderful with a good selection of fresh food items. Drinks were served downstairs near reception and it was a very comfortable and cozy environment with different seating areas with a variety of options. The receptionists were helpful, fluent in English and German, and very professional. "
