"The hotel was nice..... the young lad signing us in had absolutely no idea what to do and kept yawning which is rarely a good sign. I asked if we were keepig him up he yawned so many times. Room was good but for our last night and morning of check out we had no hot water. I rang reception at 9pm ..."

Fantastic Modern Use of Older Space
"My stay was great. The room was immaculate and the staff was great. The bed was very comforable and all of the furnishings are elegant. I will definitely stay again. The only thing missing was ice trays. ;)"

"Absolutely loved our stay at La Luz! The location is unbeatable. Literally a couple blocks from the Alamo and the River Walk. Parking next door made everything super easy but honestly, once parked, we never touched our car again. Area is super walkable and had no issues getting to where we wanted. ..."

Really enjoyed San Antonio. If you get a downtown hotel you can walk to the Alamo and the river walk area which is nice not having to take the car. The Alamo is an excellent (and free!) thing to see and the riverwalk has lots of dining options.

I thought it was amazing, it has so much to offer. If you do the bus tour make sure you choose the option that has the places you want to visit included. The bar in the Menger Hotel is worth a visit. They do bar meals.
