6/10. This hotel is very old and only had one working elevator when I checked in that was very slow. The rooms are cozy, but not spacious. Keep in mind the showers are also tiny and the surrounding area is incredibly loud.

Loved the decor of the hotel. The property was maintained very well. One of the elevators was out of service, but that didn't bother us. The stairs were very convenient and well lite. Location was walking distance to Gaslamp, which had a great nightlife and wonderful restaurants. Weekends nights can get noisy, but again we chose this hotel for the location so we knew what the noise level was and weren't bothered by it at all. We will for sure be coming back to enjoy this wonderful spot! Oh and valet parking was a great perk!!

The hotel has clean and comfortable rooms, but they are also quite small. The elevator was also a pain to use, the gate and doors are too heavy for guests bringing in luggage. The air conditioning didn’t feel very functional since the room was not as cool as I would prefer even after reducing the temperature to the lowest, and it refused to turn on at one point. However the staff was quick to help fix the issue and was responsive to my queries and needs.

Overall good. Room quite small. I think it is ridiculous that they have bottles of water from New Zealand in the room- something local would be more eco friendly!
